Marisha Platner, owner of Blooming Lotus Center, has been teaching yoga since 1997 and is certified in Ananda Yoga and registered with Yoga Alliance. Her style incorporates gentle clear guidance while encouraging participants to listen to their inner wisdom and celebrate their embodied selves. Marisha draws from thirty years experience as a practitioner of yoga and meditation. Nancy Thorson, artist, graduated with a double major in Art and Art History.

Nancy has shown her paintings locally and has studied with many artists and spiritual guides. She enjoys abstract painting and art as a spiritual practice, and is expressed through her “Inner Landscape" paintings. She has done research and study in art as therapy, and the use of dream and image interpretation in art. She has taught workshops, committed to bringing her love of intuitive art as a means of looking inward to many women.
