Itinerary   

Day 1 ~ June 3

Arrival in Dempasar and Transfer to Ubud. As we all will be arriving on different flights & days you will organize your transfer. We can assist you with arrangements. We highly suggest you arrive June 1, and no later than 3pm on June 2.

4pm: Our journey begins with orientation and a gifting of lovely traditional ceremonial clothing. We will be shown the customary way in which to wear them, and also learn about the exquisite devotional practice of making offerings in Bali.

Welcome Dinner

Day 2 ~ June 4

Early morning arrival at the 1000 year old site of Tirta Empul, Bali’s sacred bathing place, to participate in one of Bali’s most powerful rituals, a a sacred bathing ceremony of cleansing. For some it may washing away of sorrows, for others it may be a surrender to these holy waters dedicated to the restoration of spirit.

Following lunch an in depth reading/diagnosis for each woman by the wonderful Balinese healer and personal friend of Ken’s, Mangku. This is in preparation for a very powerful Melukat, a water cleansing and purification ceremony we will experience the following day, designed with special elements for each participant.

Afternoon time to relax.

Early evening drive to a small village to be with the healer, Ibu, for a transformational evening with her and her community. We will bring snacks in lieu of formal dinner as we will be in the countryside.

Day 3 ~ June 5

Late morning to healer Mangku’s home where he will perform our special Melukat ceremonies

Afternoon visit to meet Bagus Anom, one of Bali’s national treasures and finest mask maker and dancer. Anom & Ken will talk about the cosmology and archetypal energy of Bali that is directly related to our own work of transformation. This is a chance for us to deepen into Bali and her story

Following, Anom will perform a private mask dance for our group in the courtyard of his private compound. His marvelous masks will be available to us for purchase

Day 4 ~ June 6

Morning is free. This is a time for nourishing your self, receive a massage, journal, reflect...wander through the city, take in the sights, sounds, fragrances...experience the beauty and gracious spirit of the Balinese people.

Lunch

Afternoon we travel to the sacred site of Gunung Kawi through the beautiful rice field laden canyon to the retreat area of the priest/priestess for an offering ceremony.

Then to the sacred cave of Goa Gadjah, that seats Siva & Ganesh and dates back to the 11th century. In this ancient megalithic site, we will participate in a ceremony with offerings and prayers to the Siva lingams, and an offering to Ganesha, remover of obstacles, and the bringer of new energies.

To complete our ceremony, we will go outside and descend the stairway to where Goddesses are spouting Holy water from chalices held at their heart chakras. Here, we will evoke the inner Priestess, to bless one another with this Holy water.

Day 5 ~ June 7

Morning is free.

Today we travel to the countryside for both a sacred bathing ceremony and a special meeting with an amazing young woman healer. She willperform a special Melukat ceremony with each of us.

Day 6 ~ June 8

Morning is free.

Lunch.

Afternoon drive up to Mt. Batur, Bali’s volcano, and holy site. Here, we will have special prayers with our healer Ibu in a Kuan Yin temple, as well as one of the fine rare temples on the island. Then a visit to Ibu ‘s home for private work.

Day 7 ~ June 9

Morning free time.

Lunch.

We will continue our sacred work and play with temple visits. At Yeh Puluan, an ancient priestess, Ken has known since the 70’s, will grace us with her presence. We will also have a special Naga initiation ceremony with healer Mangku.

Day 8 ~ June 10

There are always many ceremonies and choices...we will open to what may unfold.

Day 9 ~ June 11

Afternoon to a Pedanda family, a high priest/priestess team for a very special purification ritual & prayers. There are only approx. 350 Pedandas on the island of Bali so it is a rare privilege. They begin their day with the prayers to the sun deity(Surya) & collective prayers for peace & healing on the planet. They are family of Ibu, our main healer, who will join us.

On to a Pura Dalem(Power Place) where we will continue our dance of prayer & movement on the inner and outer. This is a very powerful locale for setting intentions for new life, letting go of old skin realities & rebirth.  We will complete our evening at the home of Ibu, joining her community in a deep evening of dance, altered state movement, healing & prayers/offerings.

Dinner not included. Tonight we each will bring snacks as we are in the countryside.

Day 10 ~ June 12

Morning departure over the mountains of Bedugul to our ocean front hotel located on a beautiful, non touristed North shore beach. We will stop at a wonderful local market on the way.

Relaxing time.

We will leave in the late afternoon for a series of amazing ceremonies at 2 different temples beginning with the temple of Compassion on the ocean. Then continuing on to a very special Temple of abundance, presided over by the Goddess. Prayer, movement and more will be the mystery play this evening.

Day 11 ~ June 13

Morning integration, rest spa time.

Day 12 ~ June 14

Morning optional snorkeling to a beautiful island near the island of Java where we can see the volcanoes of Java right next door. A 30 minute boat ride over and beautiful coral.

Picnic Lunch.

Afternoon return.

Closing breakfast.

With grateful hearts, we depart, filled with the blessings and joy of Bali. Namaste dear ones!

There will be a group transfer to the airport based on the flight timeline with the most people on it.
