The wisdom that flows through Janis is both ancient
and fresh, intensely potent and gentle, mysterious and
resonating. Her guidance invites and holds individual
authenticity and a comfort of being deeply connected
to the circle of women. The safety of the circle
allowed for some of my deepest shame, joy, love, and
fear to be expressed with no judgment, only pure
acceptance. What an opportunity this was to be so
completely revealed and received for who I am. It was
an honor to hold witness to another sister unfolding
into and revealing her authentic radiance.
Rather than forcing or trying to get to some
enlightened state of feminine spiritual power for me,
it was an opportunity to relax into the pure
sacredness or "being" woman.
The greatest gift of the experience was what came
home with me. I returned to my life with a softness I
had been yearning for, a deep loving receptivity to
all beings and most especially to my Beloved.
Admittedly, this work turned me on beyond what my
partner and I had ever experienced before. He and I
both look forward to Janis' next offering of The
Women's Temple! |

When I entered The
Women's Temple, I hesitated for a moment, wondering if this was the right place, the safe place, the growing, embracing place---IT WAS! After The
Women's Temple transformative workshop, I was able to stand nude in the circle of my peers, letting my art group practice their figure drawing skills. I felt blessed and full of peace. My experience in the temple deepened the connection to my physical body and allowed me to stand in the
vulnerability of nakedness showing my imperfect, perfect body. This experience rippled through each artist, bringing a conscious awareness of their own
sacred bodies; we were all changed. |

I yearned for a long time to sit with a wise woman that could hold a practical and personal presence while simultaneously I knew she was sourcing that
ancient place of woman's wisdom where my precious essence could seed and grow. I am grateful to share I found that place with Janis. |
|
| |
Her gift for creating a safe container for each
woman to unfold is a rare treasure. |

It has been my privilege to participate in Janis
DeLuca’s Women’s Temple. Janis’ extraordinary ability
to facilitate the creative, the chaotic and the
nuanced energies opened the space for me to come in
contact with a wellspring of feminine strength. A
refreshing and revitalizing experience. I highly
recommend it!
I have included my poem inspired by this work: |

RE MEMBERING |
| |
what ancient Pearls
are buried
in my Heart
what Wisdom of Sorrow
what experience of Joy
is mine
to Know.
all that I have forgotten
is the All
that I Desire
all that I have cast out
is what I have been
Seeking
Ruby Tears wash my soul
replenish the inner waters
moisten the Rose.
I adorn my body
with ruby tears
that slide
between my Breasts
between my Thighs
along my Ears.
I am the Woman
who cries out
I am the Woman
who makes Love
I am the Woman
who dies.
I am the Daughtersisterwifemotherlover.
I am the Beloved.
I am the Mystery.
I Re Member.
Witness me. |

One of the most gifted healers I have met...I always feel safe and loved in her presence. |
|
| |
Sexuality has become more personal in that I now have a loving relationship with myself. |
|
| |
This work nourishes what is deepest and most abiding in us as women...I felt a deep peace that I can still touch in to after several years. |
|
| |
The shame, blame, and guilt I have held around my sexuality has been transformed to reverence, compassion and celebration. |
|
| |
Life changing, empowering, one of the best gifts you could give yourself. |
|
| |
Sacred, delicious, inviting, penetrating, healing, and soul nourishing… |

One of the few workshops where women can experience the divine feminine and her connection to the body through the “feminine”. So many workshops lack the experiential and deep healing The Women’s Temple provides. |

Working with Janis literally saved me at a very difficult time in my life. I feel this quote by Audre Lorde best describes her work: |
| |
| |
"When I speak of the erotic, then I speak of it as an assertion of the life force of
women, of that creative energy empowered, the knowledge and use of which we are now reclaiming in our language, our history, our dancing, our loving, our work, our lives." |
| |
|
|
|
| "Janis emanates deep compassion and unconditional
love... she reminds me to honor who I am" |
| |
| "Life changing, empowering, one of the best gifts you could give yourself." |
| |
| "The shame, blame, and guilt I have held around my sexuality has been transformed to reverence, compassion and celebration." |
